this warning appears repeatedly in the bible, mostly in length in last week's reading portion (and this is never a coincidence). God says explicitly that we do not win because we're better more right or more powerful but because the other side has done evil and God empowers us to help clean the mess. i agree HA is some form of pure evil but we got to be really careful around this context and with our intentions and conduct.
