  Like the lady I am also self aware and I know that although my many qualities I'm not going to qualify. I'm still wonder why my wife agreed to be with me (and I'm sure she is too...)

  I have to say, even assuming she has the quality to back up every item on that list, she still is a bit too arrogant.

  She is arrogant, and you might not like her for that - or other reasons, but this is hardly the point.
  The fact is that our culture allow us to pretend that regardless of our true value, as a man, women will fall in our arms. You can see movies with old actors acting as the male lead with young and beautifully actresses by their side. you do not see the opposite.
  We, the man, jump in shock with the post because she called our lie. She want to have a fair exchange of values and we all call her names.
  She might be blunt but she is talking as we man are talking for generations - and I like her approach for that.

  It may sound like arrogance but it seems to me that she is confident and proud of her accomplishments. You can't fault her just because she is just stating it. Obviously, anyone who doesn't like it is definitely not what she would be looking for.

  Rogel! that's a change of pace, serves me right for not checking in with you more often. I have never heard of the woman, and obviously, couldn't care less. I do agree with you that the old (??)image of the woman following the man's lead is just that, old. Make no mistake, it's still there. However, the way she presents herself, is almost the same way; take my lead, you can follow and thank your lucky stars. Ah well, who cares really.. she is who she is. Sometimes, what you communicate online does not always come across as intended..

  I think that you reading her wrong in that respect. She is an Objectivist and as such she is just making a trade. You can accept it or not but she is presenting her qualities and asking a fair value in exchange. Could it done more gracefully? sure. But I think that all what she did was to level the field.

  No No Rogel, don't turn this into a feminist fight! I would have exactly the same criticism of a man who posted about his proven "quality" and being 3 standard deviations over the average IQ and so on.
  
  It doesn't take an IQ of 145, nor a BA, to know that it's not nice to brag. If she wanted to tell people to stop hitting on her via Email, she could have done that differently.
