I have a feeling that most of the Libertarian will be in favor of government protecting children from slavery. It is falling under the category of human rights. On the other hand, handing 5 months salary out of the year to the government, and rising, is getting closer to "wip a little one out of his crib in the garage and have him do the work for free." :)

Just remember, that all this free and open market is only made available by the fact that government, with the aid of trade unions, abolished childhood slavery. If that wasn't the case, you'd just wip a little one out of his crib in the garage and have him do the work for free.
